Monthly News Update

January 2007

David Sandeman, Managing Director Welcome to the first news letter of 2007. Below are the facts and figures for the month of December 2006 and also the year as a whole. This news letter marks the first anniversary of our monthly newsletters and I do hope that you have found them informative and useful in your property dealings at auction.

The theme and trend that has run through the previous 12 months is the increased number of lots and amount raised. The 'year on year' trend is no different.

We at EiG hope you all have a prosperous 2007.

Kind regards

David Sandeman

Yearly Regional Analysis
In line with the overall figures, all the regions saw growth in the number of lots offered and the amount raised. Setting aside Northern Ireland, (the huge growth was due to us covering Osborne King for the first time) virtually all regions saw double digit growth in lots offered and amount raised, with the East Midlands topping the bill with 49% increase in lots offered and 60% by value.

Below are two graphs showing the increase for both the number of lots offered and the amount raised.
